Spring evenings…

“I love his smile” she says as she looks out her kitchen window, watching her son peek through with happiness in his eyes. The spring evening has come, chickens are grazing and digging themselves into the cool dirt, one son rides his bike racing through the yard at top speed, one son sitting on the lawn mower while guiding the remote to his truck racing along side his brother, the baby resting inside. She walks out with her water, a book, some blankets and embraces her children. As they speak she looks into their eyes, she sees them. She hears them. Grass under their feet, clovers sprouting, spiders grabbing their attention. The world is going but here, this moment…she creates a place of peace.

“Let them be little”
